Of course this was the timeline to meeting mum in Guyana - hard to get and initially set up by Gloria/Jim on a double date.
Chris (sister) talks of dad as a boy making up games of cricket, playing and singing Sinatra songs and listening to classical music, mixed in with tales of cricket from the Windies, football scores and rum punch !
So it seems singing runs in the family from granddad through to now.
