1940’s Ewell, Dad lived with his parents in Castle Avenue, Ewell, Epsom.
His cousin John Rowe lived nearby and went to Downsend Prep school, where later Jols grandson Sam went.
48-51 Barbados, where he fell in love with the West Indies. His sister Christine was born.
52-65 Marple, Cheshire. Where he fell in love with the Busby Babes of Manchester United FC.
Dad had a very similar DOB to THE hero of the day Duncan Edwards - who trajically died in the Munich air crash (Feb 6th 1958).

50's Dad met Alban Hunt at Paddington station on the way to Bloxham School in Banbury. They became lifelong friends.
