Hi all,
I took a little while to respond to Trevor’s email a few days ago, as I wasn’t sure what to say. It was very sad news, indeed.
I would’ve loved to be there with Margot and you all, to share in the celebration for Jolyon. I am also very happy that Patsy and I were able to visit with him in 2014. I will always remember him as kind with a good sense of humor, and made me feel welcome from the very first time I met him(1983). He picked Mom and I up at Gatwick with Auntie Enid, and was all excited about the pending football matches.
Maybe one day we will have an opportunity to get together and share more memories. One consolation is that he is now in a better place and I’m sure at peace.
